Today is my last day in the Action for Children office. I will miss the people in the office, their smiles, their amazing hospitality and the friendship they have given me in my month here. I have not finished all of the work I came to do, but will be able to send them a finished product as soon as I am able to enlist my son's help in putting together the final touches.
It is raining today, which is reminding me of home. I guess this is fitting as I'll be there in 5 days.

The hardest time for a man is to hide his tears when the loved one is leaving. Katie it was God’s plan for me and you to know each other and I know one day I will be in good touch with your son
I can say a lot a bout you from morning to morning but for now allow me to talk the reality.
Genesis 12:1 says,
The lord had said to Abram, “leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt, All the families on earth will be blessed through you”
There is no doubt that you were called to become a blessing to the hurting children. Your time in Action for children will not only be remembered by me and Paul alone but the whole of Uganda as a nation since you almost visited ¾ of the country.
You could recall what Miriam said when we were saying good by to you that the people who attended her graduation were saying about you that they have seen visitors but you were a step a head when it came to mixing up with Africans. Indeed you had already been part of us.
I now know that you were blessed not only to become blessed but to be a blessing to others that’ is why you left your own people and come to be with us for these good and joyful days.
My life is so easy but challenging. You found me so quit but because of your calculated steps and charming words left me smiling and so talkative to the extent that my talk is not only going to stop here but will always appear on the blogger you helped me open up. I have introduced this Idea to many of my friends and now I am not only an accounts assistant but a blogger consultant.
When Abram was called he obeyed and his name was changed from Abram to Abraham and then to the father of all nations. When you were called to come to Uganda you obeyed, I know your name has already charged from Katie to the mother of all nations.
It is one thing to be called and it is another thing to obey. Your obedience has made you have many children and friends in a short time you have been in Uganda and this should let you know that the children you have got in Uganda will always be looking forward to welcome you back home (Uganda).
Take my love to your family. The only promise is that I will keep praying for you in my prayers.

Hey Katie - Are you wishing you had the extra week there, or are you ready to come home? All my goats better be accounted for when I return from Japan, or I will come looking for Jack. For interesting meats to replicate your menus there, try Nicky USA - they can get everything and comes recommended by Mark Gould. I use them often. Give a heads up on your blog regarding the last day you post so we don't worry! Lots of Blizzard Love - Kal
